Now please don’t misunderstand me, I am not saying I know it all.  Sometimes what I know is dead on and sometimes it is flawed, sometimes even totally worth challenging and often worth changing.  I do have an answer for most questions and an opinion about almost everything.  I don’t pride myself on knowledge or wisdom or claim to have either, all I know is that I seem to know things, a lot of things and don’t know exactly why.

I enjoy discussions and debates, and sharing my views as equally as I enjoy hearing opposing views and broadening my perspectives on any given issue.  I value other people’s points of view and find great pleasure in gaining insight into what has developed their point of view.  I am not satisfied with surface level discussion, if we are going to talk about it, I want to go deep into the topic, the motivation, the personal conditioning and basis for each thought and opinion.

I don’t believe in mere facts.  I have to scrutinize, evaluate, break apart and thoroughly seek out substantial evidence to believe in something as an absolute truth.  Surprisingly, there are many things I hold to be absolutely true.  I am always willing to hear challenges to the truths that I hold, however; they must be good intelligent challenges based on more than just one aspect of the complex thoughts, feelings and facts that a person would use to support contradicting these truths. 

I don’t believe that I need to be vulgar or trashy to express myself and the opinions, knowledge, views and beliefs that I hold.  I believe in respectfully hearing people out and conscientiously, honestly and sincerely expressing myself. 

So what do I know?  I know that I am precocious.  I know that I can easily be misunderstood, and easily misunderstand.  Why start this blog?  Because for me dialogue and expression are positive outlets for the things that I know, things that I think I know and things that I really don’t know but need to be told that I don’t really know, so that I can really know them.
